Malling Alone

It's a Tuesday afternoon and here I am walking along the crowded aisles of Glorietta looking at things but shopping for nothing. This is beginning to become a habit. When I'm going home, I pass by a mall, look at things, buy a drink and just walk around. Why do I do this? Maybe it's just the cold air or the mocha frap I down or maybe I'm just plain weird.

I do that too. It creates a time for myself and my thoughts, without the ear pain caused by the buzz of other people around me (which is a paradox since the mall is so full of people). Oh well, maybe it's because the other people's focus aren't on me and each are busy with their own preoccupations or whatever intentions they have of going to the mall. The mall is my second home, as the Starbucks Coffee shop is.
